    The Internet Marketing Community
    In 1996 Chinwag established the uk-netmarketing discussion forum; a community for professionals working in the then early days of internet marketing. The list grew to become one of the leading forums for online marketers in the UK.

    The list appears in a weekly summary published in industry magazine, New Media Age. A summary of the week's key discussion topics is also published as an HTML newsletter, the uknm-roundup.

    MarketingMonitor Newsletter
    The MarketingMonitor (previously MarketingSherpa) newsletter is a text based email. Each edition provides a detailed case study of a recent online marketing campaign, it's aims, strategy and an evaluation of the success of the campaign. The newsletter also runs trade show round ups and news stories.

    The subscriber base is composed of 2,800 UK based marketing professionals from both the client and agency side with many members holding senior positions within their organisation.

     The newsletter has three text advert slots available in each issue.
     Placements are at the top, middle and foot of the newsletter.

    EventMonitor
    The Events newsletter is a weekly html newsletter featuring a calendar of UK-based internet business events including exhibitions, seminars, networking events and workshops.

    The listings focus on internet marketing events but also cover events on general online business topics such as legal issues and new platforms.

    uknm-jobs
    The uknm-jobs list is an announcement only mailing list (i.e.: a one way communication). The list provides a service for companies with job vacancies within the new media field.

    Details of vacancies are posted as text emails to the 1000+ subscribers. There is no charge for job seekers or recruiters to use the list.

    The uk-usability list is a discussion forum for professionals who work researching, designing and implementing usable web-interfaces.

    The Flasher and Shockwave lists are discussion forums dedicated to Macromedia Flash and Shockwave software. The Flasher list has grown over several years to become established as on of the strongest forums in it's area.

    The wireless marketing list is one of the newest Chinwag lists and is growing fast. The discussion covers topics including etiquette, regulation, legislation and successful campaigns.

    The e-commerce list is another newby. Discussion is about making an e-commerce venture work. Subscribers cover topics suchs as security, customer management, the changing market, fulfillment and the legal issues of trading online.
